Bamboo doors and trapdoors were made into shoji screens!
To match the shoji screens, we added many blocks that would be found in a Japanese ryokan…!
Hanging scrolls, andon (paper lanterns), floor chairs, zabuton (floor cushion), a massive low table, chabana (seasonal flowers for Japanese-style rooms), lantern lampshades, tea sets, and so on….

The key point is that the hole in the floor chair is the face of a creeper.
The tea set is my favorite!
The teacups are turned inside out.

I was so worried about the color of the tea caddy…. In the end, I settled on lacquered.
