Start Guide

It is infinitely recommended to install and configure the three recommendations.

Here are the necessary mods and settings for using cocricot with 1.19.x.

OptiFine (Connected Textures) is not required, but it will look very nice if enabled,
so please install and configure it.

If you think “I don’t know anything about mods,” don’t worry.
We will explain it clearly and concisely.

Deployment

Install OptiFine

OptiFine is a lightweight mod that allows you to use both CTM (Connected Textures Mod) and CTM to make your cocricot even more beautiful.

  1. Go to the Downloads page on the OptiFine website and download the latest version of OptiFine of the version you want to play with.
  2. Double-click on the downloaded file and click “Install” when the window appears. (If you are prompted for an application to open the .jar, install Java on your computer first and double-click again to open it.)
  3. If you see “OptiFine is successfully installed! Click “OK” to close.
  4. Launch the launcher, confirm that the OptiFine you just installed is selected in the startup configuration, and click “PLAY.
  5. When a pop-up window appears, read the contents, check the consent box, and click “PLAY.
  6. Click “Options…” →Click on “Options…”, then “Video Settings”, and if the word OptiFine appears in the lower left corner, you have succeeded!

Apply resource pack

After installing OptiFine, apply the resource pack!

  1. From the game menu, open “Options…” and click on “Resource Packs…” Click on “Resource Packs…”.
  2. Click on “Open Pack Folder”.
  3. In the folder that opens, place the cocricot resource pack you downloaded as a zip file.
  4. Then cocricot will be added to “Available” on the left side, and click the icon.
  5. Confirm that cocricot has been moved to “Selected” on the right and click “Done”.
  6. If the button turns into a ribbon, you have succeeded! Go on to the next section, OptiFine Settings.

Setting

Enable CTM

Some textures do not display nicely with OptiFine’s default settings, so let’s change the settings.

  1. After installing OptiFine, click on “Options…” in the game menu. Video Settings…” in the game menu. Video Settings…” in the “Options…” menu of the game menu.
  2. Click on “Quality…” Click on “Quality…”.
  3. Set “Connected Textures” to “Fancy”.

Remove the square cloud

The default square clouds do not fit, so let’s get rid of them!

  1. By default, square clouds are displayed and do not fit in the landscape.
  2. After installing OptiFine, go to “Settings…” in the game menu Video Settings…” from the game menu. in the game menu. In the lower left corner, click on “Detail Settings…” on the bottom left.
  3. Turn off “Clouds” in the upper left corner.
  4. If the square cloud disappears, you have succeeded!
